In Pakistan, the Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (OGRA) fixes the highest price anyone may charge for LPG. It sets a new figure every month. This page shows the LPG gas price in Pakistan today as OGRA notified it, per kg and per cylinder.
Each figure comes with its source and the date we checked it. The page also explains how OGRA builds the price, what you pay on top of it and how it has moved over the past year. We are Gas Link, an LPG shop in Lahore, and we update this page each time a new OGRA notice comes out.
LPG gas price in Pakistan today
LPG price for November 2026: OGRA’s maximum consumer price is Rs 294.08 per kg, or Rs 3,470.09 for an 11.8 kg cylinder. It applies from 1 November 2026. In October 2026 the 11.8 kg cylinder was Rs 3,296.23.

OGRA’s notice gives the price per tonne, per kg and for an 11.8 kg cylinder. We work out the 15 kg and 45.4 kg rows from the price per tonne, so they are marked as calculated. Gas Link’s refill price stays within OGRA’s maximum for all three sizes we sell (11.8, 15 and 45.4 kg), with delivery charged on top.
In short
- OGRA’s figure is a maximum: sellers may charge less for the gas, not more.
- A new price usually starts on the 1st of each month.
- Any cylinder costs the per-kg price times the kilograms of gas in it.
- At Gas Link, delivery and the deposit for a new cylinder come on top of the gas price.
LPG price per kg, and for any cylinder size
The LPG price per kg is OGRA’s price per tonne divided by 1,000. It is also the LPG 1kg price today, in the first row of the table above. To price any cylinder, multiply the per-kg price by the kilograms of gas it holds.
- 11.8 kg: the standard home cylinder, and the only size OGRA’s notice prices directly. If you searched for a “12 kg” cylinder price, this is the closest official figure.
- 15 kg and 45.4 kg: worked out in the table above. They are the other sizes Gas Link sells. The 45.4 kg one is the commercial cylinder, for businesses: see our 45.4 kg cylinders for restaurants and hotels.
- Other sizes (2 kg, 10 kg and so on): use the same sum. We don’t stock these sizes, so we can’t quote them.

How OGRA works out the LPG price
OGRA builds the LPG gas price in Pakistan from the producer price, then adds a petroleum levy and GST (sales tax). On top come fixed margins for marketing, distribution and transport, with GST on those too.

The fixed amounts are those in every notice from October 2025 to November 2026. The total per tonne, divided by 1,000, gives the maximum price per kg.
The producer price is for a mix of 40% propane and 60% butane, and it includes an excise duty of Rs 85 per tonne. OGRA issues each notice under Section 6(2)(r) of the OGRA Ordinance 2002, read with Rule 18(1) of the LPG (Production & Distribution) Rules 2001.

Why the LPG price changes every month
Only one part of the price moves from month to month: the producer price. In all 14 notices from October 2025 to November 2026, the levy and the margins stayed the same.
OGRA has said the producer price is linked to two things: Saudi Aramco’s contract price (CP) and the rupee–dollar exchange rate. APP reported this in June 2026. So a change in either can change the price you pay.
New notices are usually dated on the last day of the month and apply from the 1st. In 2026, two came a few days late, on 2 March and 5 May, but still applied from the 1st of the month.

“Change” is the 11.8 kg price minus the month before, worked out by us from OGRA’s notices.
OGRA’s price is a maximum: what you actually pay
OGRA’s figure is the most anyone may charge for the gas, at every level of the supply chain. Its notice adds that producers, marketing companies and distributors may sell below it.
What you pay also depends on how you buy. At Gas Link:
- Swap: your empty cylinder is exchanged for a full one.
- Refill: we fill your own cylinder, or you can wait at our shop while it is filled.
- New cylinder: a security deposit is added, and its amount is confirmed when you order.
- Delivery: there is a delivery charge, given to you with the price before we set off.
Some websites print “market rates” for LPG. We don’t, because no official source publishes them. If a seller quotes more than OGRA’s figure for the gas itself, ask what the extra amount covers.
LPG price in Lahore
Lahore has no separate LPG price: OGRA’s notice sets one maximum for the whole of Pakistan. At Gas Link, our refill price stays within that monthly maximum for every size we sell: 11.8, 15 and 45.4 kg. The delivery charge comes on top, and you hear the total before you agree to anything.

Check you get the full weight
Because LPG is priced per kg, a cylinder that is short of gas costs you money. An 11.8 kg cylinder should hold 11.8 kg of gas, on top of the weight of the empty cylinder.
Gas Link cylinders are marked with their empty weight, called the tare weight. To check one:
- Check that the seal is in place before you accept the cylinder.
- Weigh the full cylinder. Our driver will weigh it at your door if you ask.
- Take away the tare weight marked on the cylinder. What is left is the gas.

LPG price questions
Is the 12 kg gas cylinder price the same as the 11.8 kg price?
Very nearly. OGRA prices the 11.8 kg home cylinder, the closest size to “12 kg”. For exactly 12 kg of gas, multiply this month’s per-kg price by 12.
Can a shop charge more than OGRA’s price?
Not for the gas. OGRA’s figure is the maximum at all levels of the supply chain, and sellers may charge less. Ask what any extra amount is for, such as delivery or a cylinder deposit.
When does the new LPG price come out?
OGRA usually issues the notice on the last day of the month, and the price applies from the 1st. We update this page once the new notice is on OGRA’s website.
How much does a 10 kg or 2 kg cylinder of gas cost?
Multiply the per-kg price in the table by the size: 10 kg of gas costs ten times the per-kg price. Gas Link stocks three sizes only: 11.8, 15 and 45.4 kg.
How much is a new LPG cylinder?
OGRA’s notice prices the gas, not the cylinder. At Gas Link, a new cylinder needs a security deposit, which we confirm when you order.
